A “one program for everyone” formula doesn’t exist. Our approach to group work is to have a track and help the group take the discussion where they need to go. We also value partnering with leadership to design culture specific programs.

How do we utilize positive psychology in our programs?

Our goal is to take the foundations of traditional training program and weave in an awareness of how our brains work so that we can provide tools for growth and wellbeing in all aspects of our life.  Managing your energy and mindset as well as understanding your character strengths are key components for personal and professional achievement.   The theme of broaden and build resonates with our team and can be felt throughout our programs.

Mastering Mind Chatter is one of our most popular workshops.  It’s a great example of how our awareness and a shift in self-talk can propel us into action.  When you discover how your brain is wired you can practice tools for partnering with the wiring and even making new brain connections.

What is positive psychology?

Positive psychology is the scientific study of wellbeing.  While traditional psychology focuses on the treatment of mental health positive psychology is concerned with “the good life” and tools for “flourishing”.   Martin Seligman referred to “the good life” as “using your signature strengths every day to produce authentic happiness and abundant gratification”.  His model of a “meaningful life” included the elements of Positive emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and purpose and Accomplishments.  In later models a Vitality component was added.
